Custom Wood Beams™ was developed out of Smith Custom Cabinetry, as a separate company focused solely on finished wood ceilings. Our founding company history dates back to 1990, and Custom Wood Beams™ incorporated in 2006. Our mission is to support builders and to accelerate their construction schedules on time-consuming features like beam ceilings. Our ceiling packages should remove the needs for special framing, special millwork take-offs, separate P.O.s from moulding suppliers and no on-site finishing by painters. Our package is shipped with all required cleating; components pre-assembled, and beam surfaces prepared for smooth or various distressed surfaces and finished to designer’s specifications. We guarantee our ceiling packages to be the highest quality and to install in 1/3 the time of site-built alternatives.
